Spring Into Some Seattle Activities This Season

Wednesdays, Meditation and Sound Healing with Mary Ann Stancel. You will be guided through a peaceful and healing 30‑minute meditation using words and sound along the Seattle waterfront to take you to a peaceful state of mind. Wednesdays in May and June.

 

Fridays, Spotlight on the Waterfront. Experience local music, art, and culture performances late afternoons on Fridays 4pm ‑ 6pm. Discover Seattle at Pier 62. This ‘pop-up’ program is a platform for local artists and cultural communities to introduce themselves, their songs, dance, and cultures, to a wide audience.

 

May 1, Zumba® Master Class. Enjoy a 90‑minute Zumba® Master class that provides a mix of flavors from We Move to Give instructors. Jump in any time throughout the class and dance! Classes are on offer Sundays 1:30pm ‑ 3:00pm May through July.

 

May 1, Spring Cocktail Class at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. Learn how to shake up classic cocktails & make homemade syrups with Erik Carlson and Ethan Stowell at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle.

 

May 1-30, Our Blue Planet: Global Visions of Water. Dive into the expanse of Our Blue Planet: Global Visions of Water and experience art that ripples out from the Seattle Art Museum galleries to the edges of our world, as artists across centuries and continents explore how art helps us understand the significance of water.

 

May 4, Hello Spring Celebration. Enjoy an evening of floral arranging with the talented Holly Yee along with a wine tasting by Ghost Gallery and live music. Create and take home a floral arrangement in a vase.

 

May 5, 305 Fitness – Dance Cardio. Enjoy a 45‑minute non‑stop cardio party featuring fun, easy‑to‑follow dance moves and toning for your core and glutes. Classes are offered May through June: pre‑registration encouraged, drop‑ins welcome.

 

May 7-8, 14th Annual Flower Festival. Over 40 tents will line Pike Place featuring flower farmers from King, Snohomish, and Whatcom counties. Bouquets will be bursting with tulips, daffodils, irises, and the season’s favorite peonies. Come early and pick out a bouquet or two for all the mothers in your life.

 

May 7 + May 28, Seattle Aquarium Fun at Pier 62. Join Seattle Aquarium for fun activities open to all ages. The focus of each event varies from learning to storytelling and art, see event details by date for more.

 

May 7 – October, South Lake Union Saturday Market. Shop and brunch over 75 booths next door to Denny Park at 139 9th Avenue complete with DJs and your favorite food trucks.

 

May 10, Buttermilk Biscuits & Jam Class. Head to The Pastry Project to learn how to make the most fluffy, flaky buttermilk biscuits and berry jam.

 

May 12, Celebrate the Market. Tune in to honor the workers, residents, and supporters who make historic Pike Place Market the Soul of Seattle. Celebrate and support with food, music and stories of this thriving community.

 

May 14, LANGSTON Black Film Festival Celebration. Head to Pier 62 to celebrate 19 years of the Seattle Black Film Festival. The event will feature music, food, interactive activities and a program highlighting some of the best short films from recent festivals, with themes of identity, joy and creative exploration.

 

May 18 + June 15, Secrets of Seattle’s Historic Shoreline Walking Tours. Join geology writer David B. Williams on a walking tour exploring how the Seattle shoreline has shifted across time

 

May 22 + June 5, Community Nature Walk. Explore the wonders of the natural word with us! Our community nature walk will be led by an Indigenous educator from the Salish Sea region, who will tell stories, share traditional teachings and spark conversation about the land and animals.

 

May 27-30, 51st Annual Northwest Folklife Festival. Northwest Folklife’s 2022 Cultural Focus, Metamorphosis: In with the Old, In with the New, celebrates people’s natural propensity for change.

 

June 11, Silver City Brewery Mariners Pub Crawl. The pub crawl brings together hundreds of local craft beer fans in Pioneer Square, with over 10 destination bars & restaurants, culminating in one unforgettable night at the ballpark.

 

June 12, Inside Story: Adventures in Storytelling. This is an exciting exploration of storytelling in several exciting forms. A talented cast of improvisers creates stories from your true-life secret, personal, and funny stories. Come share an Inside Story.

 

June 17 + 18, Summer Solstice Night Market. Seattle Night Market proudly presents 2nd Annual Summer Solstice Night Market at Magnuson Park 30 on June 17-18th! Enjoy over 100 vendors, food trucks, live music and interactive art experience under the stars over two days.

 

June 19, Kickboxing and Mobility with Indigo Movement. Join Indigo Movement to celebrate summer as a community with a 60‑minute full‑body kickboxing and mobility class at Pier 62.
